Driftless Knitting: Episode 108 Shownotes

Thank you for tuning into Episode 108 of the Driftless Knitting podcast! This episode was a bit hurried, but hopefully you still found it entertaining and full of good information. I really wanted to film an episode before packaging up a couple of sweet baby things that I gifted to my cousin for her baby expected in July. We had that baby shower on Sunday, June 13th, the day after filming, so it was perfect timing. Lots of other fun projects are getting underway here at the Driftless Knitting headquarters, so stay tuned!

• Project 1: Baby Ashley sweater (Ravelry link) by Kelly van Niekerk. Knit in Knitcircus Divine DK in The Beacons Are Lit speckle.

• Project 2: Elephant Hat based on Basic Baby Hat (Ravelry link) by Heather Tucker (thought I changed the stitch count from 72 stitches to 68). Knit in Knitcircus Divine DK in Silver Linings semi-solid.

• Project 3: Baby Blufftop Hat (pattern not available yet!) based on the Blufftop Hat (non-Ravelry link). Knit in Knitcircus Ringmaster worsted in Where the Wild Yarns Are speckle. I just realized that I didn't say what colorway I knit this in on the podcast! Oops!

• Project 4: Socks (no pattern yet!). Toe-up socks using US 1 40" Addi Sock Rocket circular needle; cast on is Judy's Magic Cast On and I use 56 stitches. Yarn is Plucky Knitter yarn in the limited edition "Big Woods" colorway. The kit that this came in was from Little Skein in the Big Wool.
